Product Description

The Laser Welder LW1089 is a system for deep penetration welding of aluminum and copper leads on DCB substrates, used in power electronics and battery cells. It allows for different weld geometries and depths through laser power modulation. A movable holding-down device provides zero-gap detection and prevents contamination from weld splashes. High axis accuracy and process control ensure precision and reproducibility. The “clamp and weld” concept allows fast adjustment to different product variants and flexible changeover, accommodating component tolerances.
