Invitation to CoNEXTions 2016 Technology Day

Accelonix and Altus are pleased to announce their collaboration to host CoNEXTions: SMT Production and Test Equipment for factories of the Future on 29th September 2016

The all-day event will be held at the prestigious Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), located in Coventry to showcase the very best in innovative manufacturing, test, manufacturing software and inspection equipment through presentations and demonstrations, along with a guided tour of the venue itself, which boasts a premier conference suite and lavish architecture. On display, will be a host of SMT assembly and test equipment from world leading manufacturers from their respective product portfolios.

Surface Engineering 2016

Cranfield University – 2nd UK Surface Engineering Conference

Accelonix Ltd. Metrology team were pleased to participate in the 2nd UK Surface Engineering Conference held at Cranfield University on Thursday 30 June.

Chaired by Professor Jose Endrino of Cranfield University, delegates from across Industry and Academia were able to enjoy presentations on a variety of topics in the Surface Engineering arena delivered by speakers bringing insights to the different issues that are confronting UK engineering today.

Accelonix Ltd were pleased to be joined at the event by Frank Kemnitzer of Cyber Technologies. The event was very well attended and Frank was able to apply his wealth of experience and understanding to the many applications that were discussed during the conference.


Post-Doctoral Symposium, Imperial College

On Friday 17 June Accelonix Ltd.'s Metrology Division joined the Post-Doctoral Symposium held by the Department Of Materials, Imperial College in London.

The symposium was attended by a number of research members and members of staff with a series of presentations delivered by researchers on the work they were engaged in. There was a supporting exhibition attended by 5 companies, who were sponsors of awards based on best oral presentation, best poster presentation and best photograph of a materials based image.

Business Manager Keith Dear was invited to act as an independent judge for the awards.
